This Weekend...
I had my last two midterms on Friday morning. I had to stay up all night because I had procrastinated and I was trying to cram. I was hoping to open the living room blinds and find a wonderful sunrise, instead I saw this:
After my midterms, I had a full schedule ahead; work, meetings and meetings. Then…it was time to go home! :O
I got home and fell asleep; I was so tired yet relieved...

So Tired...
I have three back-to-back midterms and a quiz today beginning at 9AM:
Calculus midterm at 9:00AM
Japanese quiz at 9:50AM
Japanese midterm at 10:00AM
I know, I have a 10-minute quiz. I should have taken that last week but I couldn’t make it to class so I have to make it up before the midterm (otherwise, I fail it).
I am feeling very tired; I stayed awake all night and I am still going...

Lessons Unlearned
No matter how many times I “learn” my lesson in terms of procrastination, I always end up in the same place when it comes to writing papers for school. I really love writing but I’m terrible at history and I can never seem to remember any relevant historical context. I have been in Geisel library at UCSD since 3PM and I probably won’t leave until closing (midnight).

So far today...
Went to sleep at 4:30AM. Alarm goes off. Woke up and signed up for my Japanese discussion at 5AM (it was full within minutes). Went back to sleep. Overslept and woke up at 7:50AM. Missed the bus from Downtown SD; took the next one. Made it to my 9AM class (15 minutes late) cool as a cucumber though ^-^
I was too happy to get a spot in the Japanese discussion class to let anything ruin my day....

I met with two teachers from my alma mater, School of Science & Technology at San Diego High School Complex (I like to write the full title). We had Mexican food at a place called El Zarape on Park Blvd. (University Heights) and talked about the most random things. It was awesome. Happy New Year!
This past year has been the most challenging year by far. I went through so many things that almost broke me, almost killed me. I lost so many things I can never gain back; time, friends, and more. I almost gave up when I had nothing to lose, no one to turn to and was lost in the dark. I never thought I could ever show my face again, I was dealing with a lot of mourning and self-hatred.

I keep losing...
I lost yet another battle against insomnia. I have been attempting to change my sleeping schedule before winter quarter begins in January, but all I have managed to do is bring back my insomnia.
Last night I turned off all the lights, turned on my sound machine and attempted to sleep. It was 11PM. I was actually tired so I thought it would work, and it did…for about two hours. I fell asleep...
